一、教材分析

      本单元话题是谈论客观存在的人或事物。教学重点是“There be+名词（短语）+地点状语”的句型，表示某地有某人或某事物。在教学中，本单元知识涉及到的教学内容，学生虽然在以前的学习中对部分单词有所了解和接触，但毕竟学生形成的只是初步的认识，需要特别注意引导学生运用。在教学重点句型时，建议教师应该尽量多创设真实情境进行教学，并且适当地采用游戏、活动等多种教学形式来保持学生的学习积极性。

二、各抒己见

王顺亚：story time围绕“Goldilocks and the   three bears”这一话题来展开对话练习，通过听故事引出句型“There be”的学习。教材利用故事的话题来呈现出句型要点，并进行相关的练习和看图排序以及看图填空，有利于学生的理解和掌握。由于教学时正是新学期刚开学之际，可选择以引导学生自主交谈为本话题的切入点，引出对话，为后面的教学做铺垫。

卞映月：在熟练运用句型之后，再为学生创设情景并表演对话。可以让学生以口头、笔写等形式训练学生看图听说的能力。为培养学生的交际能力，针对本课教材的对话内容，让学生在课外创编一段对话并表演，以此调动学生的语用积极性和语用能力。There be句型涉及到可数名词和不可数名词，教师要提醒学生在运用时区分可数名词的单复数形式，从而准确运用be动词的正确形式。

二、制定依据

1．教材分析: 本单元围绕的主要话题是Goldilocks来到一个森林小屋，发现那里的一些摆设物品及介绍了她遇见的事物的一些特点。其中学习了用There be句型来描述场所里物品摆设，以及用The…is too…来描述物品的特点。教师可充分挖掘学生对于童话故事的兴趣爱好，吸引学生的注意力来理解语言，以此来操练句型，进行问答。教师要注意让学生准确运用There be句型在名次单复数中的变化，也要注意There be句型在可数名词和不可数名词句型中的be动词灵活用法。

2．学情分析: 五年级的学生具有一定的语言基础和思维能力，学生在四年级时已经学习过hungry, thirsty, hot, cold 等形容词。本单元第一次接触There be句型，本单元中，教师可引导学生结合以前学过的地点类词汇和方位介词进行表述。部分学生对there be句型有过接触。is和are的用法为本课的难点。

三、重点难点

1、学习本节课的新单词及短语，能够将词汇灵活地运用到实际的语言表达中；2、学习和巩固句型“There is/are…  This…is too…”的用法
